Resume writing
What does a great resume actually include? The useful parts, in order
A great resume is not the one with the most sections. It is the one that makes the right information easy to find without requiring a guided tour.

Give the reader an immediate starting point
Use your name, a reliable contact method and relevant location or working-arrangement context. Add professional links that work and help explain your work. You do not need to publish a full home address to demonstrate where you are based.
A short summary can help when it clarifies your direction. If it only says that you are motivated and hardworking, spend that space on evidence instead.
Lead with the strongest relevant evidence
Show roles or projects with clear titles, organizations, dates and specific contributions. A reader should be able to distinguish your work from a general team responsibility.
Emphasize relevant accomplishments without hiding the timeline. If you are early in your career, useful projects and education may deserve more space than a short unrelated job.
Before
Passionate, exceptional, dynamic professional seeking an exciting opportunity.
Clearer
Operations coordinator with experience organizing supplier schedules and maintaining delivery records.
Example wording to adapt to your own situation, not a claim or result to copy.
Keep skills and education concrete
Name tools and methods you can discuss. Include qualifications accurately, with institution and completion status. Preserve meaningful awards or coursework when they explain your readiness.
A skills list is a map, not proof by itself. Connect important claims to a role, project or learning example so the reader can see where they came from.
Remove noise without deleting your story
Cut repeated skills, empty adjectives and paragraphs that duplicate the summary. Keep distinctions that would help someone understand your experience or ask a better interview question.
Before sending, verify every date, link and contact detail. Read it once for accuracy and once for the target role. Those are different checks, and both matter.
